The Trustees for the parent 501(c)(3) that operates the Monastery, Divine Tools, Unlimited, have collectively determined and agreed upon the following:
- to not 'open for business' for the 2010 season as usual – not to schedule any weekend events, any week-long programs, not to hold classes or workshops, except as may be developed during the summer by the High Desert Sustainability Institute
- to spend the majority of our time and attention tending to our own 'kin domains/spaces of love' (see the Ringing Cedars series/the Anastasia books) as the World Peace Ashram develops
- to accept only an occasional work-volunteer, 1-2 per month, and only for short stays, to complete specific tasks or complete specific projects under construction
- to maximize our attention to our own work, our own hearts, our own community for this pivotal year in humanity's evolution of consciousness
What I will recommend to each of you is to write me as usual: donna@desertmonastery.org to discuss what we're doing, what you're doing, and how things are shifting as you become aware of them. I will be doing the same. What I further recommend to each of you is to take a good, long look at what you are doing, how you are spending not only your days, but your life force – what are you supporting, what are you committed to, who benefits from all your time and attention, your labor and resources? If it is not YOU and your family first, then I encourage you to shift your awareness to the most personal layers of relationships.
I am not advocating selfishness, far from it; I am advocating that we re-order our priorities and cease to feed all that we are and all that we do into The Machine, the overlords, society as some vast, massive conglomerate of disparate energies. I suggest that you secure your food supply, your water supply, your nourishment, and your heart's desires. There is a momentum in any external focus that will inexorably lead you away from what is in your own and your loved ones' best interests. It is totally up to you to re-order your time and effort into ventures that are internally-focused, close to home and close to your heart, and to shift your power and your life-force to create a new momentum.
There is an infinite array of celestial, natural and energetic forces at work and available right now to assist you to make the shift from external to internal focuses, from work you do for corporations and bureaucracies to work you do for yourself and your immediate community – so trust that once you take the first step in your soul's direction, the miracles that ensue will carry you further than you would ever have gotten by tediously continuing to force your will on the 3
rd -dimensional plane.I encourage you to allow your true goal to be to prosper, to feel well and integrated, to be at peace.
As long as the accumulation of money is your goal, you will be empty, unfulfilled, ever-returning to the well for another drink, another paycheck. For that small reward requires you to commit your daily efforts to someone else's accumulation of power and wealth, at your expense. No matter what your income is, if you are not an entrepreneur or working directly on your space, your own nourishment, then you are being controlled by and are at the mercy of 'others;' look at all those who live in the Gulf of Mexico areas of our south-eastern United States! In their commitment to waiting for BP to do the right thing and cap the oil gushing into the beautiful gulf waters, they are watching everything they have and believe in being ruined, polluted, ignored... and they are being lied to about it daily. Take the hint and make pro-active choices – now, this summer. Don't be an ostrich, become awakened! Bless your heart. There is much that is shifting in our world, and only some of it will ever hit the news!
